Viking International School is a diverse community of learners, families, and educators. Rooted in global perspectives, we prepare students to thrive as curious, confident, and responsible citizens.
Our education balances academic excellence with wellbeing. Students learn in a safe, supportive environment where they feel happy, challenged, and inspired. Through STEM, inquiry-based learning, and nature-based experiences, children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and a sense of responsibility for the world around them.
With a strong focus on hands-on learning, sustainability and mental health, we nurture the whole child, empowering learners to ask questions, explore deeply, and shape a brighter future.

STEM makes us engineers so that we can build stuff. When I grow up I’m going to build a bridge like the big one that connects to Sweden.

I really, really like STEM because you get to do fun experiments, challenges, coding, and real life things like rain gauges.

Having a dog at school makes me happy every day. When I feel sad, she lets me pet her and that always makes me feel more warm inside my heart.

Student Wellbeing
Corona taught us that prioritizing mental and emotional health is absolutely essential. VIS has created a weekly class for all students that teaches them how to form relationships, understand their own emotions and learn strategies for emotions and communication. We have two therapy dogs that focus on supporting our students and are always available for a cuddle or to hear a good book.
